I am Kirstin - a yoga teacher and breathwork facilitator living in Windhoek, Namibia. My travels took me from studying and working in Cape Town in the entertainment industry to theatre training in America, Au Pairing in Europe and working and traveling as a masseuse and yoga teacher in East Africa and South-East Asia. In 2019 I settled in Koh Phangan, Thailand, for almost 5 years. Even though it has been an incredible ride, I now enjoy being back in my hometown, bringing the magic from the islands to the people I believe need it the most...
Throughout my stay in Thailand I knew the time would come for me to integrate back into western society. This has always been my goal: not to isolate on an island bubble of bliss, but to integrate the spiritual teachings and elevate the every-day mundane life in the conventional world and to share it with the people in my community. There’s so much that I’m healing from as I’m carving out a very individualistic path for myself, yet still keeping my connection to my tribe intact. My goal is to share my insights and realizations with you, the reader, in the hopes that you may find something valuable to take away as well.

What is Transformational Breathwork?
Transformational Breathwork is a conscious breathing technique that allows you to safely and naturally access the subconscious mind. With guided support, this practice helps release stored emotions and dissolve old patterns, creating space for new, more empowering ways of being — supporting mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.

The journey is done lying down and is guided by carefully curated music and my voice. Each session is intuitively tailored to the participant’s needs. In group journeys, the collective energy and shared themes of the group are addressed.
​
This is a deep, immersive practice, more closely related to modalities such as the Wim Hof Method or Holotropic Breathwork than to traditional pranayama techniques found in yoga.

​What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle yet powerful energy healing modality in which the practitioner acts as a clear vessel for universal life force energy. This energy is calibrated to a specific healing frequency and is channeled to the participant to support balance, restoration, and wellbeing.
​
Reiki naturally flows to where it is most needed, helping to release energetic stagnation and restore harmony on both an energetic and physical level.
​
During a session, the participant lies down while I am intuitively guided to direct the energy to specific areas of the body. Reiki sessions can be experienced both in person and online, as the energy is not limited by time or space.

What is yoga?​
Yoga is a holistic practice that unites the mind, body, and spirit. This union can be cultivated through physical movement (postures), breathing techniques, meditation, and more subtle practices such as developing focus and concentration. While yoga is often associated with practicing postures on a mat, it is ultimately a much broader system of self-awareness and embodiment.

In my teaching, I love to weave together movement, breathwork, and meditation to guide students into a deep state of relaxation and inner connection — while still feeling energized, present, and grounded.
